The Chalonnais Vocal Ensemble La Voix est libre will be giving a concert on Sunday 18 May 2025 at 5pm in the Sacré Coeur church in Chalon sur Saône.
Admission is free and participation is free.
The theme of the concert is "Mediterranean Songs" and will take you on a journey from Spain to the Balkans, via Greece, Italy and Corsica.
The vocal ensemble LA VOIX EST LIBRE, created in January 2014, is made up of amateur choristers. It comprises three elements: Mixed choir (La Voix Est Libre) - Female choir (Calliopé) - Male choir (Chor'Homs).
Marie-Bénédicte ROLLAND joined "LA VOIX EST LIBRE" as choir director in September 2024. Trained at the Dijon Conservatoire and the Pôle d'Enseignement Supérieur de la Musique de Bourgogne, she also trained as a choral conductor at the Conservatoire au rayonnement régional de Chalon-sur-Saône.
