During the workshop, you are invited to create a photographic composition and then produce a cyanotype print of it.
Cyanotype is a bluish photographic printing paper developed in 1842 by the Englishman John Herschel. During the workshop, you are invited to create a photographic composition and then produce a print on cyanotype paper.
This composition will be created using negative images of photographs from the museum’s collections, on the theme of plants. The selected images will be enhanced with freshly picked plants, chosen for the shapes they bring to the composition.
