A family activity for children aged 3 to 5 and their parents, led by a guide, to explore the historic doors of houses in the town centre.
Together, as we wander down a narrow lane, we’ll look for these ‘hammer bells’ – the predecessors of electric doorbells – which still adorn doorways today with curious designs featuring animals or characters.
Then, during a fun activity, everyone – young and old alike – will be able to create their own decoration inspired by the discoveries made during the tour.
