Recorded at Studio Garage (Paris 20th arrondissement) by Tristan Mazire, it marks a return to this studio so dear to the band (albums ‘SIOH’ and ‘10 ans ferme’). Two Tone ClubThe TWO TONE CLUB are back with ‘Don’t Look Back’, their fourth album… 10 years on from the acclaimed ‘Now is the time’. And once again, the nine Rude Boys have surrounded themselves with top talent: following on from Victor Rice and Brian Dixon, they chose to collaborate with producer Tony Platt (Bob Marley, AC/DC, Asaf Avidan, and many others). Recorded at ‘Daft Studio’ (Liège), mixed at ‘Le Studio’ (London), and mastered at ‘Air Studios’ (London), the result is simply mind-blowing, thanks to the musical richness and originality of the 14 tracks. Led by Linton, a charismatic singer with a unique vocal tone, the band delivers fiery rhythms and sparkling brass lines. The style is rich and varied, oscillating between 60s swing (ska, rocksteady, early reggae) and the big British sounds typical of the 80s 2Tone wave.
