French motorboat championship (speed and endurance) on the banks of the Saône at Chalon-sur-Saône (August 2026)

Like every year, the Association for the Promotion of Motorboating (ASPROMO) organises the French Motorboating Championship. For two days, the best French drivers and their teams battle it out on the banks of the Saône. This championship round includes speed and endurance races, as well as free practice and time trials. The results of these races count towards both the French Championship and the Burgundy Cup. This year, the Championship will be held in Chalon-sur-Saône, and the circuit will run between the Pont de Bourgogne and the Pont Saint-Laurent, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, between 9.15am and 6pm. The entertainment and show (including the final prize-giving ceremony!) are free and open to all. Refreshments and food available on site.
