A2c - Exposition Fine Arts Event

A2c / Group exhibition featuring Gérard Pourez (watercolours), Pierre Bassard (surrealist paintings), Frank Rollier (watercolours) and Fanette Monnet (sculptures) Fanette Monnet: After studying fine art at Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, her first teaching post in a region where she felt out of place sparked her desire to work with clay. This led her to begin her training with a potter. It then became clear to her that clay was her medium of choice and modelling her means of expression. Since then, this technique has enabled her to give form to her thoughts and emotions. It helps her connect with the world. It accompanies her through every moment of her life. It will never leave her. Pierre Bassard: A renowned French artist born in Besançon, he first came to prominence in 1961 in Franche-Comté and later in Paris with the Groupe Hétéros. He was shortlisted for the Prix Fénéon in Paris in 1966. Since 1970, he has held numerous exhibitions in France and abroad and has exhibited at art fairs in Paris and New York. He is involved in the Phases movement (see the journal *Cobra*), as well as in the activities of the Collège de Pataphysique. Franck Rollier (born in 1969): a graduate of the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Dijon, Franck Rollier has been a regular participant in numerous international watercolour salons and wildlife exhibitions for over fifteen years. Recently, he has exhibited at ‘Art au gré des chapelles’ in Batz-sur-Mer (44), at the Akwarel Centre in Malingsbo (Sweden), at the 10th Brioude Watercolour Biennale (43) and at the Festival Nature Aves in Namur(Belgium)... A former exhibition curator, he also co-organised ‘Only Papier’ in Lyon in 2018 and 2020... Gérard Pourrez: Gérard Pourrez lives in Givry. In 2022, he exhibited elegant watercolours of boats and shorelines. He honed his skills in drawing and watercolour under Roland Génieux. This time, he will be presenting his approach to portraiture.
