Set off on an adventure and cycle the Grande Boucle Mâcon-Chalon, an iconic route linking two historic towns in Burgundy. This picturesque loop takes you through the region’s renowned vineyards, where you can sample local wines at authentic estates whilst admiring the rolling countryside. The route now connects Chalon to Mâcon via the Côte Chalonnaise greenway, which winds through the vineyards, and Mâcon to Chalon via the blueway that follows the River Saône along the old towpaths.

EuroVelo 6 is one of Europe’s most famous cycle routes, stretching over 4,700 kilometres across 10 countries. It links the Atlantic Ocean to the Black Sea, passing through varied landscapes, historic sites and towns steeped in culture.
