Description
To celebrate Mother's Day, there will be a large exhibition and sale of African handicrafts: wax textiles, Touareg jewellery and bronze statuettes.
The APPUIS associations and the solidarity club of the Hilaire de Chardonnet high school are organising an exhibition and sale of handicrafts from Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger. These sales are part of a fair trade and solidarity-based approach. By buying these products, you will be supporting fairer remuneration for the craftsmen and women, traditional and cultural skills, an economy that is more respectful of people, and the educational and solidarity initiatives run by our 2 associations.
Every purchase makes a tangible contribution to the funding of our projects and helps create direct links between African producers and French consumers, based on the values of dignity, sharing and solidarity.

fairer wages for local craftsmen and women,

From 18 to 24 May, to mark Mother's Day, we'll be delighted to be welcomed for the first time in the large exhibition room adjoining the Tourist Office. This larger space will enable us to showcase all our products: wax textiles, jewellery, statuettes, spices, accessories, handicrafts and a variety of African creations.
