Description
A family encounter between Cécil Gallois and Ambre Vuillermoz in a miniature version of Lully's opera "Isis", a playful tragedy for children aged 6...
A meeting for families with the artists in residence at La Turbine, on their miniature version of Lully's opera "Isis", a playful tragedy for accordion and voice: for ages 6 and up!
Lully's Isis recounts the misadventures of the nymph Io, seduced against her will by Jupiter and painfully punished by his jealous wife, Juno.
Tormented by a fury, she travels through the underworld until she finally finds forgiveness from the outraged woman and a place in the Pantheon.
This opera, reputed to be unsuitable because of its multiple tableaux and technical complexity, has been given a new lease of life thanks to an inventive and playful device.
The show features a single singer, Cecil Gallois, playing all the roles and manipulating the various characters embodied by toys (playmobile, action figures) in a model set. Everything will be filmed live and broadcast on screen. The orchestra is supported by the accordion of Ambre Vuillermoz, who also takes part in the backing vocals.
For this outing from their residency, the two artists will be presenting a stage in their current creative work.
A fruit juice to share with them will be offered at the end of the performance!
