Before the official launch of the programme on 5 June, the Chalon dans la rue festival invites you to discover its 2026 edition exclusively at a festive evening on Saturday 30 May from 5pm on the Abattoir site.
It's a chance to immerse yourself in the festival, but also to meet up, chat, share a meal and get into the swing of things together.
At 5.30pm, the evening gets under way with an extract from Guinguette Plantes, a participatory creation with a plant-based touch, devised over several months with residents of the Quartier des Aubépins.
The festival team will then give you a sneak preview of the 39th edition, which runs from 23 to 26 July, including shows, guest companies, new features, convivial venues and more. Presentation translated into French sign language by Synchrones Interprétation.
Then, the highlight of the evening with Les Petites Épopées... by the company Le Doux Supplice. A powerful, immersive show in which the performers emerge from the heart of the audience to take you on a collective adventure between acrobatics and dance.
And because a good evening doesn't end there, we're extending the pleasure from 9pm with a shared meal - bring your own hamper or take advantage of a special offer from Le Galpon - before finishing with a DJ set!
