For children aged 6 to 10. It was in the mid-19th century that our city underwent a major change in its modes of transport.
Heading for Lyon or Marseille, people would travel along the river as a waterway and board a boat at the Port-Villiers jetty; heading for Paris, they would use the railway network and board a train on the platform at Chalon Ville station. It is this unique history that the children will discover and bring to life.
The projects will focus on creating scenes of the boat quays and the banks of the Saône, drawing inspiration from painting or photography.
