Come and see an original show with artists who will dance, sing and play music in a wide variety of arts.
This is a new kind of evening in Chalon sur Saône, bringing together a variety of arts that are rarely combined in the same show. With a great deal of humility and a desire to entertain the public, we're bringing together a wide range of performers, all of whom aim for professionalism despite being amateurs.
The show has three objectives:
-To bring audiences back to theatres after the COVID period: a number of artists have not been able to perform over a long period, so this evening is a good opportunity to show off and celebrate with the audience, and to make them want to come back to the venues.
-Promoting local talent: we have a pool of good local artists of all ages, and the idea is to showcase them, give them the chance to perform and showcase their talent.
-It's a charity evening broadcast live, with all proceeds going to associations involved in children's hospital services. This provides families with material and financial support in difficult times. Since 2022, Talents sur Saône has been broadcast live to the children's and young people's rooms in the paediatric wards of the following participating hospitals: William Morey, EHPAD des Terres de Diane, EHPAD du Bois Menuse and Hospices de Beaune.
The first Talents sur Saône evening was held on Saturday 1 October 2022. Anyone in the audience can make a donation to the association when buying tickets or afterwards.
Since 2022, we've had rapid success in selling tickets: the public is there, the halls were full, and in 2024 we turned away more than 200 people. We are visible on Facebook and Instagram, in the local media such as Info Chalon and the JSL, as well as on France 3 and France Bleu. We are also featured on Radio PREVERT, ICI and RCF.
Talents sur Saône has already been held 3 times, first at the Théâtre Piccolo and then at the 850-seat Espace des Arts in Chalon sur Saône. High-quality casting is carried out over 3 months among 120 artists who have volunteered for this unique show.
The alternating and eclectic passages of the artists give a unique variation for this type of evening. You're bound to be surprised by this variety of local talent, its richness and its professionalism. You'll be touched, you'll laugh and you'll probably sing too, because that's what we want: to get you involved too!
