As a beekeeper for several years now, I offer you local honeys produced using traditional methods and as close to nature as possible.
I've been a beekeeper for a few years now, and I use traditional methods that are as close to nature as possible. I offer you local honeys, harvested apiary by apiary.
My hives are spread across the communes of Rosey, Moroges, Sainte-Hélène and Granges, as well as an apiary in Bazoches-du-Morvan, near the family farm.
- I practise sedentary beekeeping, placing my hives around my home for regular monitoring and in places where the conditions are favourable to them: varied and abundant flowering throughout the year, lots of woods, meadows, hedges, fallow land and gardens...
- I only use AB-certified products to combat varroa mites (the main enemy of bees), and never synthetic acarides.
- I aim for the bees to feed on their own honey, so I feed them as little as possible, and when I do, I give priority to honey from my own production.
My practices are carefully thought out to ensure that I always respect the colony and its environment. By limiting the inputs into the hive and reasoning out the slightest intervention, they aim to encourage the bees' autonomy, wildness and resilience, as well as their health, well-being and happiness!
