La Rumeur & Laradji: Commitment at the heart of the word
A major figure in independent rap since 1995, La Rumeur (Ekoué, Hamé, Philippe 'le Bavar') embodies a demanding, literary hip-hop rooted in reality. From the 18th arrondissement of Paris to cinema screens, the group defends a strong identity: a lucid and uncompromising "rap by the sons of immigrants". Between landmark albums and committed film projects, they offer an intense live experience that bridges generations.
Opening the show, the Dijon scene is represented by Laradji. With her raw songwriting and disarming sincerity, Laradji explores our darkest side and our innermost emotions. Influenced by the depth of Scylla and the pain of Zamdane, her music acts as an outlet. Following on from her IRM (2024) and Les Draps sont Propres (2025) EPs, she is preparing new projects for 2026, in which emotion, both powerful and delicate, remains the driving force behind her deeply human rap.
