Welcome to Jôye. In the heart of Chalon-sur-Saône, opposite the Chalon-sur-Saône town hall and just three minutes' walk from the quays of the Saône where the boats call in, we welcome you to a place steeped in history and character. Ideally located, with a car park just a minute's walk away, our establishment enjoys a privileged position right in the centre of town. Jôye is a restaurant, bistro and bar all in one, offering authentic, fresh market cuisine. Each day, three dishes are created according to the seasons and new arrivals, using fresh, local produce selected directly from our partner producers. The menu features classic dishes such as foie gras and veal sweetbreads, accompanied by homemade desserts. At any time of day, Jôye is an invitation to take a break: coffees, farmhouse juices, detox shots, kombuchas, ginger beers, organic syrups, craft beers, cocktails... not forgetting a fine 100% Burgundy wine list, designed for the curious and the passionate alike. Our plates of farmhouse cheeses made from raw milk, served with natural sourdough bread, are the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine, either to share or to enjoy before dessert. The place has a unique atmosphere: an elegant glass roof bathed in light, antique floor tiles, a view of Saint-Pierre Church in Chalon-sur-Saône, and a terrace planted with greenery to catch the first rays of sunshine.
