A2c / Enrique Peyceré was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1927 and died in Paris in 1988 - We owe this exhibition to Enrique's son, Josquin Peyceré, who lives in Givry. Josquin invites us to discover an important Argentinian artist, a versatile visual artist but above all an engraver, who pushed the technique of this art very far. He presents a refined body of work in drawings, watercolours and etchings that has been shown by the artist in numerous international exhibitions in Sao Paulo, Hamburg, Florence, The Hague and, of course, in France... This attempt to summarise the work of Enrique Peyceré is based on the many works present in his studio at the time of his death (1988), classified and photographed in 2007. It is necessarily incomplete and partial, but is intended to give an idea of what remained at that date. It includes works from the entire French period (1960-1988), which is overwhelmingly made up of abstract works, apart from a few drawings from 1960 and a series of "trees" from the 1980s.
