Since 2013, the Grand Chalon Tourist Office has held the Qualité Tourisme mark, a sign of its strong commitment to the quality of its welcome, information and promotion of the region.

Tourism quality mark

In order to always welcome you better and improve the quality of tourism services in France, the French government has created the Qualité Tourisme™ mark.

Qualité Tourisme™ is the only state mark awarded to tourism professionals for the quality of their welcome and services.
Qualité Tourisme™ accompanies you throughout your stay: accommodation, restaurants, places to visit, sports and leisure activities, tourist offices, seasonal rental agencies… you can choose in complete confidence establishments that offer you a quality welcome and services.
Whether they are well-known or unusual destinations, large groups with an international reputation or small independent establishments, they all join forces with Qualité Tourisme™ to provide you with a welcome of excellence: almost 5,500 establishments have been awarded the Qualité Tourisme™ label.

National recognition

Obtaining the “Qualité Tourisme” label is of the utmost importance for local tourism operators. It’s much more than just a logo attached to their establishment; it’s official recognition of their commitment to excellence and visitor satisfaction. This recognition is based on the following 5 points:
