Description
An association created in 1982 to promote all the appellations of the Côte Chalonnaise.
This association was set up 44 years ago by the then Mayor and a handful of winegrowers, with the aim of raising the profile of all the Côte Chalonnaise appellations.
Twice a year, a selection of wines is organised, where more than 100 tasters (oenologists, winemakers, cooperators, wine merchants, wine clubs, Burgundy sommeliers, chefs and amateur customers) divided into around twenty juries blind-taste and score these wines (more than 350 samples). The 144 highest scores will then be sold at the ex-cellar unit price. A Spring/Summer selection (from Easter to La Paulée) and an Autumn/Winter selection (from La Paulée to Easter) govern the life of this house. The Maison des vins is a partner of the town's Tourist Office, the Paulée de la Côte Chalonnaise, etc. Twice a year, at the launch of each selection, a tasting of all the wines is organised ...
