Fanny & Meric open the doors of an authentic winemaker's house full of character, steeped in history, built in the 17th century, very carefully restored according to the rules of the art, nestled in the quiet on the edge of an alley, a stone's throw from the vineyards, in the heart of a peaceful residential area adjoining the center of the charming wine-growing and commercial town of Givry, famous for its emblematic AOC, the jewel of the Côtes Chalonnaise wines (the favorite wine of the famous King of France, Henry IV, according to legend!). An ancient fortified village, of which the remains of the ramparts still exist, renowned for its very rich listed heritage (numerous churches including a remarkable 12th century Romanesque building, Clock Gate, round hall, Monks' Cellar, wash houses, fountains, very beautiful characterful houses…), this elegant town has many amenities as well as rich leisure facilities including the renowned "Acrogivry" Park (the largest treetop adventure park in Burgundy, one of the largest Adventure Parks in France!) and enjoys a beautiful landscape setting (largely protected in ZNIEFF and various "Natura 2000" Zones for its rich fauna and flora), nestled in the gentle Chalonnaise countryside in the hollow of a bucolic valley of vineyard hills and meadows encircled by vast state forests (to be explored during relaxing walks or bike rides), punctuated by sublime panoramas and landscapes.
