SMADJ makes his Laboratory: creation with Napoleon Maddox and a new guest: Nicolas Nageotte!
Using the latest technological tools (Orba, JouéPlay, Push... controllers of all kinds) and his instruments (acoustic and electric Oud, guitars)... he's going to launch into an Eastern electro improvisation where he'll invite different guests to accompany him at each performance.
The idea is to push the boundaries of organic electronic music, interacting with others and coming together around strong melodies.
For the first show, he called on Napoléon Maddox (singer, rapper, beatboxer) with whom he concocted the 'Last Call' project, a blend of groove, spoken words and electronic and oriental music... Like animal tales metaphorical of our world in search of hope...
Nicolas Nageotte is a multi-talented musician. An all-round clarinettist and polyglot saxophonist, he also plays other traditional wind instruments such as the doudouk and Turkish clarinet.
A popular performer of classical and contemporary music and clarinettist with the Lemanic Modern Ensemble, Nicolas Nageotte is also active in the field of improvised music. He has performed with Jacques Di Donato, Isabelle Duthoit, Carmen Lefrançois, Beñat Achiary, Simon Henocq, Fabrice Charles and Christian Maes.
