Givry Town Council invites you to the Parc Georges Laporte for a morning of nature, sharing and family fun! Come one, come all to take part in Eco-citizen Day, a festive event, free and open to all, designed for young and old around eco-responsible gestures and conviviality.
It's a fun and enriching way to spend a day together.

Whether you're curious, a do-it-yourselfer, or just looking for a good time to spend with the family, this is the morning for you! There'll be plenty of interactive workshops on site to help you learn about eco-citizenship in a different way, through creative, instructive hands-on activities.

On the programme:

- Making nesting boxes with the Youth Service and the association Les P'tits Givrotins - the perfect way to teach children about local biodiversity!
- Making natural products for the garden and home, led by AGEP - simple, economical and good for the planet.
- Making TAWASHI sponges from recycled textiles, a creative workshop run by A.Te.Lier and the Résidence Autonomie "Aux Sept Fontaines" - a great opportunity to create links between the generations.
- Givry Culture Loisirs will be offering activities and explanations about the two book boxes installed in the town - an original way of combining reading and ecology.
- Clean Walk in the streets of Givry, organised by the Conseil Municipal des Jeunes - to take concrete action for a cleaner environment.
- Presence of the Grand Chalon véloZoom service: Encouraging soft mobility, presentation of the opportunities offered by the service and the bicycles available for hire.
