Building a cathedral in the Middle Ages involved hundreds of workers and could take decades. Today, in Chalon-sur-Saône, the construction site of Saint-Vincent's cathedral is also home to a wide range of trades, from stonemasons to master glassmakers.
Through the lives and work of craftsmen past and present, come and discover the history of these buildings and the importance of their current restoration. While the building is closed for the work, there will be an exhibition, models and activities for you to try your hand at preserving our heritage.
